Consadole Sapporo (W0 D1 L5 GD -7) go into this 7th game of the J.League campaign with just a single point to their name - from their opening draw with Jubilo Iwata. Sapporo lost 3-1 at Nagoya last week and never looked like getting point while Frontale let a 2-0 lead slip at Gamba Osaka and capitulated 3-2. Sapporo must already be favourites to go down but Frontale do not seem to much better, even though they have some talented players in the ranks.
Kawasaki Frontale (P6 W2 D1 L3 GD -1) meanwhile, sit in 11th place with 7 points but, six of those points came from two fortunate 1-0 wins and their form has been very average. Emphasising that point is the fact that they have already parted with their coach, Naoki Soma. A change of coach didn't help last weekend when Frontale went down to Gamba Osaka's first win of the season, by 3-2, after being up 2-0.
