Kashiwa close in on title
Title-chasing Kashiwa Reysol moved three points clear at the top of the J.League after claiming their fifth successive win with a 2-1 victory at Shimizu S-Pulse.
The hosts went in front two minutes before the interval when Eddy Bosnar blasted home a free-kick, but Kashiwa equalised through Masato Kudo's header after 63 minutes.
And they snatched the points five minutes from time when Leandro Domingues reacted quickly to a rebound to head home the winner.
With just two rounds of the league remaining, Kashiwa hold the advantage over nearest challengers Nagoya Grampus Eight and will lift the title next weekend if they beat Cerezo Osaka and Nagoya fail to beat Montedio Yamagata.
``We know our position, the situation of the league,'' said Kashiwa coach Nelsinho.
``No matter what happens to Nagoya and (third-placed) Gamba, that won't affect us.
``We just move on one by one as we can reach the league title if we can do what we have to do.''
In Sunday's other game, Vissel Kobe were convincing 3-0 winners over Cerezo Osaka thanks to goals from Takayuki Yoshida (11), Kunie Kitamoto (53) and Yoshito Okubo (90). - http://soccernet.espn.go.com
