Another Twilight Impasse: Chelsea, Fulham, End Match in Stalemate

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Rafael Benitez’ Chelsea have yet to see a convincing victory following another goalless draw at Stamford Bridge over Fulham in Wednesday’s Premier League match.

Fans lowered down their booing on Rafa after greeting him with widespread dissent on his first match against Manchester City. Chelsea held ball possession at a better rate than Fulham, yet the hosts failed to convert opportunities, particularly from Ramires and David Luiz.

Fulham threatened to win w1th ease through John Arne Riise, who almost slotted in chances through the hosts’ woodwork. Hugo Rodallega attempted to score, but his effort ended in Petr Cech’s save.

Chelsea Fans – Opposition to Benitez Will Ensue

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Chelsea fans have warned that their opposition against new manager Rafael Benitez will continue as long as he stays in the club.

The Spaniard has figured in past tussles against Chelsea when he was still manager of Liverpool – the side he lead to win w1th ease to earn the 2004-05 Champions League title. Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard’s looming exit forms another reasons for his unpopularity.

Chelsea Supporters’ Group chair Trizia Fiorellino emphasized that the fans do not approve of Rafa taking over Roberto Di Matteo’s post, and that they did not want the Champions League-winning Italian out in the first place.

Like Blazing Mitsubishi Mirage Cars: Swansea, Liverpool, End Tight Match in Draw

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Liverpool travelled to Swansea City in Sunday’s Premier League, but Reds manager Brendan Rodgers failed to beat his former side as the match ended 0-0.

Both sides appeared to be in a tight race, with neither appearing to win w1th ease over the other.  Jose Enrique’s scoring effort for Liverpool went offside, while Raheem Sterling came close for the visitors as he volleyed towards the bar.

Wayne Routledge’s effort for the Swans ended up in busy keeper Pepe Reina’s save. Michu riddled Liverpool’s back line, but failed to convert his chances. Keeper Gerhard Tremmel rescued his side towards end game as he saved Jonjo Shelvey’s 20-yard effort.

Keputusan UPSR 2012 Impasse: Late Young Boys Equalizer Frustrate Liverpool in UEFA Europa League

THE LATEST UEFA EUROPA LEAGUE NEWS – Liverpool looked set to win against Swiss opposition Young Boys on Wednesday’s Europa League, but a late equalizer from Elsad Zverotic placed the game on level 2-2.

Jonjo Shelvey linked up with Joe Cole and Suso and flicked a header past Young Boys’ netting to score Liverpool’s first. Raul Bobadilla equalized for the Swiss outfit by striking powerfully beyond keeper Pepe Reina.

Liverpool looked poised to win w1th ease in the game, as Luis Suarez threatened Young Boys’ defence. Joe Cole soon gave the hosts’ second after failing to convert a close chance earlier. A powerful strike from Zverotic ended the game in a draw two minutes from time.

Unpredictable UPSR Result 2012: Didier Drogba Mulls Chelsea Loan Move to Prepare For Africa Cup of Nations

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Didier Drogba, Chelsea’s long-time main striker, faces the possibility of coming back to the Stamford Bridge club as he plans to stay fit in time for January’s Africa Cup of Nations.

Drogba led Chelsea to win w1th ease in crucial matches, including a spectacular winning penalty that saw them win the Champions League over Bayern Munich for the first time. A loan move will benefit the Blues, as Fernando Torres remains lacklustre in form.

Currently, Drogba is negotiating with FIFA over a pre-January transfer window move. Current rules state that he cannot play for another club until January 1, 2013.

Just Like Passing in the UPSR Result 2012: Arsenal Knock Out Hapless Montpellier in UEFA Champions League Game

THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Arsenal sealed Champions League qualification for the 13th consecutive round as they beat French champions Montpellier 2-0 in Wednesday’s encounter.

Wilshere took over Thomas Vermaelen’s header through a successful finish on the 49th minute. Lukas Podolski ensured that Arsenal would win w1th ease by volleying inside the visitors’ netting an hour past kick-off.

Schalke 04’s victory over Olympiakos made Arsenal the sole contender for the second qualifying spot in the group. The Gunners have 10 points from three wins, one draw and one loss in five games.

Just Like Failure at AIM 2012: Galatasaray Win over Man Utd in UEFA Champions League

THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Manchester United took their Norwich City-style defeat to Europe as their second-string squad lost to hosts Galatasaray 1-0 in Tuesday’s Champions League game.

While neither Galatasaray nor United appeared to win w1th ease, Burak Yilmaz’ goal and attempts from Hamit Altintop placed the Turkish hosts on the forefront. Nick Powell gave the closest chance for the Red Devils through a deflected header.

The defeat cost United their first loss in this season’s race to become champions of Europe. They remain on top of the table with 12 points after four wins.

Not Easy As McDonalds: Man Utd Leaves Key Players for Galatasaray UEFA Champions League Encounter

THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Manchester United will visit Galatasaray in their next Champions League encounter without their senior figures in tow.

Eyeing McDonalds Victory: Galatasaray Target UEFA Champions League Win Over Man Utd

THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Galatasaray aim to inflict a shock defeat on Manchester United when they face for their upcoming Champions League fixture.

A Narrow Obama Win: West Ham Trounce Hosts Newcastle in Premier League Fixture

UEFA Champions League Preview: Man City Must Win Three Big Games - Mancini

Juventus Deal Heavy Routing To Nordsjaelland in UEFA Champions League

THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Scudetto winners Juventus inflicted a 4-0 thrashing at home on Nordsjaelland in their Champions League match on Wednesday.

The Bianconeri promised to win with ease from the beginning as Claudio Marchisio scored first on the sixth minute. Arturo Vidal added another less than 20 minutes later, followed by an Andrea Pirlo-assisted Sebastian Giovinco made minutes before half time.
