sealed Champions League qualification for the 13th consecutive round as they
beat French champions Montpellier 2-0 in Wednesday’s encounter.

Vermaelen’s header through a successful finish on the 49th minute. Lukas
Podolski ensured that Arsenal would win w1th ease by volleying inside the
visitors’ netting an hour past kick-off.
Schalke 04’s victory over Olympiakos
made Arsenal the sole contender for the second qualifying spot in the group.
The Gunners have 10 points from three wins, one draw and one loss in five
games.
