CSKA Moscow coach Leonid Slutsky admits his Japanese attacker Keisuke Honda is not in perfect condition but is preparing for Tuesday's Champions League clash with Real Madrid.The 25-year-old Japanese forward has battled a knee injury in recent months, an ailment which has kept him off the pitch since November.
However, Honda has been back at CSKA training in the past few weeks, with some reports speculating he could take his place against Jose Mourinho's side."He is far from being in perfect condition," Slutsky told reporters on Monday according to Kyodo News. "At this point in time, all I can say is that Honda is preparing for the match."Japan coach Alberto Zaccheroni has indicated he will overlook Honda for selection for the February 29 World Cup qualifier against Uzbekistan.
