AFC Champions League Match Day 4 Results

Brisbane Roar 1-2 Ulsan Hyundai

Australian champions Brisbane Roar's hopes of progressing to the next stage were dealt a severe blow after a controversial second-half penalty helped Korean outfit Ulsan claim a 2-1 win.

Ulsan went ahead on 11 minutes when Colombian Juan Estiven Velez (pictured) dispossessed Mitch Nichols before rifling home a fine left-foot shot. However, Brisbane were level on 25 minutes when Shane Stefanutto's effort was deflected in off Kwak Tae-Hwi.

Both sides came close in the second-half, with Lee Keun-Ho and Luke Brattan both hitting the woodwork before a dubious penalty was awarded to the visitors after Sayed Mohamed Adnan's tackle. Kwak made up for his earlier error, to convert the 73rd-minute spotkick.
