THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Frank Lampard’s injury problems remain daunting for Chelsea as their scheduled Premier League football match against Manchester United nears.
Chelsea, which have not played past through rival Shakhtar Donetsk well in the Champions League with their 1-2 away loss, saw Lampard play for only 18 minutes against the Ukrainians as he sustained a calf injury. Chelsea manager Roberto di Matteo said that the player’s pain stemmed from a recurring previous injury.
