THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney expressed his desire to surpass the goal records of legend Sir Bobby Charlton in United and England.

Rooney is a driving force in United, leading the club to win w1th ease in both domestic and international competitions since his transfer from Everton in 2004. He needs 17 England and 64 club goals more to break Charlton’s record.

Calling Charlton’s record “a great challenge” to break, Rooney takes further inspiration from the likes of veterans Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs.
